Odlo, a constant success
Odlo , a Norwegian brand famous all over the world, was born in 1946 from the passion of its founder, Odd Roar Lofterød Senior .
Father of one of the national junior ice speed skating athletes, just for his son, he designed the first elastic and functional pants in synthetic fiber Helancada , perfect for training.
Soon the fabric was perfected and the first complete suits were made for both ice speed skating and cross-country skiing.
The success was such that Odlo dressed the entire Norwegian ski team at the 1964 Winter Olympics .
In 1994 they developed the "Effect by Odlo" fibre, the first technical underwear with silver ions to combat bad odours.
Odd Roar Lofterød Senior remained at the helm of the team until 1979. His motto was: "make sure you are always one step ahead" .
And so did its Odlo , which in over 70 years of activity continues to excel in fabrics and technologies, continuing in research and experimentation to offer ever more performing garments.
