New Urban Trek with an unforgettable circular route! The date is set for February 23rd!
We have studied a unique route that connects Monte Ciocci to the Monte Mario Nature Reserve. The panorama of the city of Rome from different points will amaze you.
It is a circular route and will last just under 5 hours (including breaks). It is a real Trekking with a commitment, in terms of physical activity, that requires good walking ability and resistance to altitude differences. The route is about 15km long and with an overall altitude difference of +/- 250-300 m
Along the way, we could admire buildings that alternate between ancient and modern architecture, see many places of historical interest, pass under the meridian of Rome (also called the Prime Meridian of Italy) and be able to immerse ourselves in the Monte Mario Nature Reserve which is a true jewel of Nature. All this with the possibility of turning our gaze in a panoramic way and with different angles towards Rome!

Where?
The appointment is for 9:00 on Sunday 23 February at the Valle Aurelia Metro A stop parking lot and as described above it will last approximately 4h 1/2. Breaks are included in the total time.
If you like this initiative, we invite you to register below to find out about the availability of places. We will form a group of max 15 people. The cost for participation is 10 euros.
What will we do?
- You will have the opportunity to do a beautiful Trekking in Rome between Nature and History!
- You will do some physical activity! Which never hurts! It will be a walk that requires commitment but is doable for most... the important thing is that you have some training in your legs and that you are a bit trained in walking! The pace will be sustained so that the walk will also be a workout in the end! To give you an idea, let's try to propose a pace that is around 4.5 km/h. It is not a race, you have every right to slow down and rest if necessary!
- You will meet people who are as passionate as you about nature and walking
- You will get advice from Daniela and Gabriele on how to walk best and get ideas for daily workouts in Rome's parks, which luckily have plenty of them!
How to reach us?
- The meeting place is accessible to everyone and with independent means or thanks to public transport. Parking at the Valle Aurelia stop of Metro A. The meeting time is at 9:00
