Karpos & Manifattura Valcismon: an Italian story

Karpos is an Italian technical clothing brand born 10 years ago but linked to a much older history, almost 70 years old: that of Manifattura Valcismon , a company founded in 1946 by Giordano Cremonese in Fonzaso , in the province of Belluno .

Born in the cross-country ski textile sector, it created the Sportful brand in 1972.
It then opened up to competition cycling by acquiring the Castelli Cycling brand, achieving great success. In fact, it becomes the official supplier brand of the Giro d'Italia .
In 2007 it opened up to outdoor technical clothing with Karpos .

The Karpos logo aims to represent both climbing man and all those animals capable of overcoming gravity without wings. This is the reason for this "superhuman hand" , a fusion between the phalanges of a man and a gecko.
