Description
Speedcross 6 GTX®, the new generation of Speedcross that maximizes all the best of past editions.
Maximum grip on yielding, soft or irregular surfaces, it has deeper and sharper blocks and a compound that is the perfect mix of grip and resistance!
The Contagrip sole of the SPEEDCROSS 6 GTX® features wider chevron blocks , more spaced from each other, with deep groove and multidirectional grip, a perfected design and direction to offer greater grip during pushing and braking, while eliminating all accumulations of mud, loose earth and grass with every stride.
A sort of shell has been created on the back of the shoe that wraps around the heel.
The upper of the Speedcross 6 GTX® it is completely welded, with dissociated SensiFit™ flaps and follows the movements of the foot extremely naturally. This type of seamless upper construction offers a snug fit and a smooth, soft feel on the foot, as if you were wearing a pair of gloves.
Thanks to the waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane this speedcross is completely waterproof!
Externally the upper is made with a particular anti-debris mesh which prevents ground, pebbles and dirt from remaining trapped between the foot and the insole.
The midsole built with EnergyCell™+ technology has a high rebound effect which offers extraordinary energy return, excellent cushioning and greater durability.
The lacing is clearly entrusted to the famous Salomon Quicklace™ patent, the one-pull lacing system with a thin string in sturdy Kevlar that simplifies and optimizes the fit of the shoe.
The contoured OrthoLite® insole guarantees maximum cushioning, unparalleled comfort, breathability and resistance.

How do you understand what the right size of a SPEEDCROSS 6 GTX – SALOMON shoe is?
Easy! Place your heel (of both feet or if you know which of the two feet is the longest, place the longest) and draw a line in front of the longest toe (usually the big toe but not always). Now take a tape measure and measure this distance: wall/marked line. The result in CM will correspond to a measurement... which one? Here is the converter, but be careful! Always take 1/2 cm more than the match!
22cm = 36 — 22.5cm = 36 2/3 — 23cm = 37 1/3 — 23.5cm = 38 — 24cm = 38 2/3 — 24.5cm = 39 1/3 — 25cm = 40 — 25.5cm = 40 2/3 — 26cm = 41 1/3 — 26.5cm = 42 — 27cm = 42 2/3 — 27.5cm = 43 1/3 — 28cm = 44 — 28.5cm = 44 2/3 — 29cm = 45 1/3 — 29.5cm = 46 — 30cm = 46 2/3 — 30.5cm = 47 1/3 — 31cm = 48 — 31.5cm =48 2/3 — 32cm = 49
